GET INVOLVED

Protecting Communities from Harmful Emissions

Air quality directly impacts people’s health. Both ocean-going vessels and heavy-duty vehicles used for moving cargo are powered by diesel engines, which emit substantial amounts of black carbon, a major component of diesel particulate matter. FAST focuses on reducing black carbon emissions that present significant environmental health risks, especially in areas surrounding schools and residential zones. Together, we can ensure clean air and a healthy environment for all.
